Air Italy and Vistara have signed an interline commercial agreement to offer a single through ticket for all customers offering enhanced connectivity and seamless connections from Italy to a range of Indian domestic destinations with effect from today.
Under the agreement, Air Italy is now able to offer its customers the opportunity to fly to and from new Indian domestic destination such as Chennai, Goa, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Kochi, Kolkata and Hyderabad, in connection with its Milan Malpensa-Delhi and Milan Malpensa-Mumbai flights launched respectively last December 6th and 13th.
Air Italy Chief Operating Officer, Rossen Dimitrov said: “The commencement of our partnership with Vistara is great news for passengers of both airlines. We are glad to strength our relations with our Indian partner which has rapidly expanded its network and services in a very short time. Our India-bound customers departing from the US and from Italy can now benefit from a wider selection of cities in addition to Delhi and Mumbai with a single ticket. Our aim is to ensure our passengers a smooth and enjoyable flight and along with our commercial partner to enable them to discover every part of this magnificent country.”
The Milan to Delhi and Mumbai thrice-weekly timings are as per the below schedule:
Air Italy connects its Milan Malpensa hub with Italian cities such as Rome, Naples, Palermo, Catania, Lamezia Terme, Olbia and Cagliari (from March 31) with New York, Miami, Los Angeles (from April 3rd), San Francisco, (from April 10th), Chicago (May 14th) and Toronto (May 6th).
All Air Italy’s new services between Milan Malpensa and Canada, the United States, Thailand and India are being operated with Air Italy’s new long-haul Airbus A330-200, which offers up to 24 seats in the exclusive Business Class cabin making it possible to fly with maximum comfort in fully lie-flat seats with signature Italian cuisine accompanied by a selection of champagnes and Italian fine wines, Wi-Fi service, an extensive inflight entertainment service and the personalized attention from its on-board staff.
The Economy Class cabin with 228 seats also provides Air Italy’s guests with highly personalized service, Wi-Fi and a wide selection of entertainment.
On the new domestic flights from Malpensa, Air Italy offers in Business Class a welcome drink service, breakfast or snacks, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and in Economy Class a snack with a choice of coffee, tea, soft drinks and fruit juices, all served by its highly attentive crew.
