ADTOI targeting to double Domestic Tourism visits by 2025; opens National Membership

With the COVID 19 pandemic destroying tourism in the country, one can see no immediate relief or remedy for this. However, with the States and districts opening up their gates to welcome tourists, the revival of domestic tourism does not seem far away now.

Domestic Tourism is going to drive economies in each country for the next few years. USA, Germany, Spain, etc, have already announced travel within the country to promote their respective countries. Hence, this is the time to invest in the Tourism of the future.

ADTOI is targeting to double Domestic Tourism visits in India from 1.8bn to 3.6bn visits by 2025. This will make India the second largest domestic market.

Thus, ADTOI wants the travel and the hospitality industry to be a part of this future as they open National Memberships for domestic tour operators, agents and MICE operators in the primary category and Domestic focused hotels and transporters in the ancillary category. This looks like an ideal opportunity to join hands to rewrite the future of Indian Tourism and make India a sustainable & responsible tourism identity.

The ADTOI Managing Committee has decided to offer a special membership fee of Rs. 4000./- plus GST for those agencies and stakeholders who would like to apply for membership from the current date. This offer is valid only for this month expiring on September 30, 2020.

Interested stakeholders are also requested to float this special offer among other stakeholders and other associations members to get maximum response to support Domestic Tourism which is the lifeline for the future.
