The Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI), Rajasthan Chapter celebrated World Tourism Day in a unique way at Hathi Gaon in Rajasthan.
The members gathered at Jalmahal to participate in their #SaveTourism drive which is a pan India campaign by ADTOI and IATO. The drive started at 10.30 am from Jalmahal to Hathi Gaon via Amer Fort.
At Hathi Gaon, Mahender Singh, Chapter Chairman, ADTOI Rajasthan and the members met the Elephant Owners Association officials, Forest Department officers and mahouts families. After discussions, Singh assured the best possible support to 60 mahouts families staying at Hathi Gaon during this pandemic. As a token of support, the Chapter members contributed and offered two trucks of feed for the elephants.
Other senior members of ADTOI Rajasthan including Sanjay Kaushik and Sukhdev Singh were also present during this visit. A vote of thanks for attending the event was given by Viren Shekhawat and he also wished all trade colleagues on the occasion of World Tourism Day.
