IATO has been following up with the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Bureau of Civil Aviation (Security) directly and through the Ministry of Tourism for the last one year regarding grant of airport entry passes for the tour operators and Hotels. But the issuance of airport entry passes was stopped as the new guidelines/criteria were being made by the Ministry of Civil Aviation/Bureau of Civil Aviation (Security). However, in the interim, on IATO’s request for validity of airport passes was extended till 31st March 2020 for the tour operators.
However, with regular follow-up, their request for airport passes for tour operators and hotels has been acceded by the Ministry of Civil Aviation as per information received from Ministry of Tourism, Government of India on 24 July 2020. Now, the number of passes that will be given to the tour operators and hotels are as following criteria:-

Further details and the guidelines are yet to be received from the Ministry of Civil Aviation/Bureau of Civil Aviation (Security), Government of India and shall be informed soon to association members.
