RiiSE first year anniversary was celebrated at Pullman & Novotel New Delhi Aerocity with all RiiSE members. To grace the occasion, external motivation speakers such as such Savita Luka Home Care Nurse, Nurse Counsellor & Palliative Care Trainer, Mandeep Kaur, Strategic Human Resources Leader, IBM India and Dinaz Madhukar, Executive Vice President, DLF Luxury Retail & Hospitality were also invited. This was followed by a Pep Talk and Women Empowerment session and Awareness Health talk program about breast cancer.
With continuous efforts towards female hiring process and RiiSE initiatives during this year, we are able to recruit 22 per cent female employees during the year and which helped us to reach the total female workforce by 23 per cent in our hotels and our aim is to increase to 30 per cent by 2022.
In October 2018, RiiSE was announced for the Accor group to share thoughts and draw inspiration in order to promote diversity, knowledge sharing and inclusiveness. RiiSE by Accor group is active across five continents via the mobilization of strong regional communities. Its action is based on the sharing of knowledge through a mentoring program, with 900 pairs in some 20 countries in 2018, on the promotion of especially female talent to positions of responsibility, and on combating all forms of discrimination.
