Air India begins its first ever flight between Mumbai-Bhavnagar

With an aim to bolster regional connectivity as a part of its ‘Connect India’ program, Air India has started its first ever flight on Mumbai-Bhavnagar sector from April 21, by its wholly owned subsidiary Alliance Air. The flightn is a huge relief to frequent flyers between Bhavnagar and Mumbai and operate four days a week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. AI flight AI-9651, a 70 seater ATR 72-600 aircraft will took-off from Mumbai at 1715 hrs and landed at Bhavnagar at 1830 hours.

The return flight AI-9652 departed from Bhavnagar at 1915 hours and arrived at Mumbai at 2030 hours. The return flight on Saturday from Bhavnagar departed at 1945 hours and landed in Mumbai at 2100 hours. Recently, Air India commenced services to Bengaluru-Vijaywada, Kolkata-Agartala recently as a part of the ‘Connect India’ scheme.
