AccorHotels recognised for its Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives by ‘Team France’ under the Education category for the ‘Accor Centre of HOPE’ by the French Ambassador to India. Established in 2013 at Mahipalpur, New Delhi by AccorHotels India, Accor Centre of Hope has been providing vocational training to improve the employability of young women and men from unprivileged backgrounds in the Delhi National Capital Region. Under the program, the centre has attracted and fostered talents by developing, training and motivating people to work in the service sector.

Our wider mission at Solidarity Accor is to bridge links between cultures by supporting their development and this recognition further strengthens the group’s efforts in helping to create a better socio-economic status for the underprivileged”. Currently in its third edition, ‘CSR Impact Prize’ recognises the contributions of French MNCs in India and bestows awards to recognise the contributions made by these companies through radical and transformative changes in the development arena of innovation and excellence.
“Our CSR efforts are perfect examples of how we support and integrate the underprivileged into the mainstream community, with the growing number of students graduating successfully and contributing to in the service sector”, said Ashwin Shirali, Human Resources Director AccorHotels India. The laureates were unanimously selected among the 21 highly competitive dossiers. The jury included members from The Indo French Chamber of Commerce, Business France, Embassy of France and French Trade advisors.
