ADTOI back on track- first General House Meeting held during the year on September 9

ADTOI organised its first General House during the year on September 9, 2015 after the vacation of ex-parte interim order on August 21, 2015, The Royal Plaza, Hotel, New Delhi. The General House Meeting was attended by a large number of members. The Meeting was called to order by Shri Jyoti Kapur, President. The meeting started with the product presentation by Jim’s Jungle Retreat in Corbett Tiger Reserve.

Daleep Akoi of Jim`s Jungle Retreat made an impressive and enlightening audio-visual presentation of the property. The property is a blend of all the elements like nature, wild animals, organic food, etc. The audio-visual on the property highlighted the grandeur of Rajasthan royalty along with the charm of sand dunes. Members were very pleased to see the presentations of both the properties and had interactive session at length to better understand the USP’s of both the properties. Shri Jyoti Kapur, President, ADTOI thanked the members present profusely for sparing their valuable business time on a working day.

He gave an account of what all the team had planned in the last ten months i.e. proposal by Ramoji Film City Hyderabad to host the convention, similar requests received from the MD, MP Tourism to have the ADTOI Convention organised in one of the major cities in Madhya Pradesh. Both the offers could not be pursued due to the stalemate. Members showed strong support to hold the ADTOI Convention at the earliest. Jyoti Kapur, President, further apprised the General House on FAM Tour/Hosted Buyers Programme to J&K twice, as well as another FAM trip to Gujarat during Navratri has been finalized from 12th to October 21, 2015.

B.L. Nijhawan, one of the Past President, thanked Jyoti Kapur for organizing and conducting the interactive meeting, and requested to have such meetings in the near future, and take ADTOI forward. Kapur along with his Team facilitated Nijhawan and thanked him for being present at the meeting and sharing his thought process.
