Cathay pacific adds three more weekly flights to San Francisco

Cathay Pacific Airways has launched an additional three-times-weekly direct service between Hong Kong and San Franciscocommencing 11 June 2015 bringing the total number of non-stop weekly flights between San Francisco and Hong Kong to 17 flights a week.

San Francisco was the airline’s first destination for non-stop services between Hong Kong and North America, which launched in 1986. These additional flights demonstrate both the growing market of leisure and business travellers as well as Cathay’s ongoing commitment to expanding connectivity between North America and Asia, providing more scheduling flexibility and greater customer choice over the superb hub in Hong Kong.

Rajesh Menon, Regional Sales & Marketing Manager, South Asia says, “San Francisco is one of the most frequented destinations in North America; especially from the South Indian cities of Hyderabad, Chennai and Bengaluru. We are thrilled to be able to offer our passengers more capacity on this key route, through these additional weekly flights. Moreover, Cathay Pacific Airways has won the “Best Transpacific Airline” award at the 2015 World Airline Awards by Skytrax, which is the largest airline passenger satisfaction survey. Our award winning products and services will ensure our passengers from India enjoy a great flight when travelling to San Francisco.”
