Visit California India organised a familiarisation trip for senior product managers of four major travel companies across India.
Organised in November, 2015, with the objective of enhancing product knowledge on the Golden State beyond its gateways, the itinerary showcased the diversity of California regions. The group experienced various attractions, cuisines and the breathtaking views of Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Solvang, Monterey and San Francisco.
The attractions experienced during the FAM were Warner Bros Studio, Universal Studios, Monterey Bay Aquarium, California Academy of Sciences and Golden Gate Bridge. The group also experienced fun activities like whale-watching and the 17 mile drive.
More than 262,000 Indians visited California in 2014, thereby having 27.2 per cent market share of the total visitors to the US. These remarkable numbers demonstrate a 9.1 per cent growth over the previous year.
