THAI Smile Airways continues expanding international routes by launching Lucknow – Bangkok flight to underscore its aviation standards and excellent service that meet the world service standards. The new flight aims at facilitating thetargettravelers who are looking for convenient travel experiencefrom a full service airline, while opening a new window of adventure for the Thai passengers to explore the charming of India, the door to Buddhist holy sites. Captain Woranate Laprabang, Acting Chief Executive Officer, THAI Smile Airways, stated that in the past three months, THAI Smile has gradually introduced three new routes to India. That includes Bangkok – Gaya – Varanasi route, introduced in early October, Bangkok – Jaipur route launched in November and currently, Bangkok – Lucknow in December. The three routes recieved overwhelming response from Indian tourists and businesspeople. We are really proud that THAI Smile Airways receives such a good welcoming response from Indian passengers in such a short time. Especially for Bangkok and Lucknow route, Lucknow has high potential for aviation business. Apart from being the capital and the largest city of the state of Uttar Pradesh, India, with a population of over three million people, Lucknow is rich in arts and cultures and Persian poetry. The objective of the event is to raise awareness among agencies from state and private sectors, including media and travel agencies and seminar organisors from India, as well as providing information on tourism and conference organiserin Thailand. The event aims at encouraging business cooperation between tourism and MICE operators from both countries.
Business matching is held to provide travel agencies from India and Thailand, including famous hotels and food product brands the opportunity to talk business. THAI Smile operates three flights a week from Bangkok to Lucknow, on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. It also operates three flights a week from Lucknow to Bangkok, on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
