Taj Jumeirah Lakes Towers ranks no.1 as Favourite New Hotel in the Mena Region

Taj Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai, the latest addition to the international portfolio of the iconic Taj brand, has been recognized as ‘Favourite New Hotel’ in the Middle East and North Africa region at the prestigious Condé Nast Traveller Middle East Readers’ Choice Awards 2020. The annual awards are a celebration of the outstanding achievements of the travel and hospitality industry over the past year. The winners are selected based on unbiased reader votes, resulting in a list that honours those who have gone above and beyond to create memorable guest experiences.

To mark the occasion, Stephen Meredith, General Manager of Taj Jumeirah Lakes Towers said, “We are extremely honoured to win this esteemed award and I could not be prouder of my team that made this happen. Taj Jumeirah Lakes Towers has set the benchmark of luxury, not only in JLT, but in Dubai. We are deeply committed to creating exceptional experiences for all our guests and to be recognised for our dedication is a testament to Taj’s globally acclaimed warm and sincere service.”

Taj Jumeirah Lakes Towers opened its doors on December 8, 2019, making it the second hotel from the Taj brand in the Middle East. The hotel is the fusion of a century old legacy, seamlessly woven together by worldly contemporary sensibilities, and quintessential Indian heritage. With unparalleled views of the Emirates Golf Club, Dubai Marina and the Arabian Gulf, the hotel’s 200 rooms and suites provide the perfect vantage point to observe the city’s glittering skyline.

The hotel brought two unique firsts to the JLT neighbourhood, with a large ballroom to host meetings, conferences and intimate wedding functions and the highest rooftop pool, bar, and restaurant. Distinct dining options include, the much-loved, Shamiana from the flagship, Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai, Paros, a Mediterranean inspired rooftop pool, bar, and restaurant located on the 46th floor of the hotel and TJ’s, a laidback bistro-café. Additionally, the exclusive Taj Club Lounge and round-the-clock gym form key features of the hotel.
