SpiceJet announced that it has achieved the highest passenger load factor (PLF) of 92.1 per cent for the month of October 2015, according to data published by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The airline has set a new benchmark in Indian aviation by achieving over 90 per cent load factor for six consecutive months. The airline has also improved it’s On-Time Performance (OTP) which stands at 86.9 per cent for October.
The flight cancellations for the airline have also declined consistently in the past few months, with the rate of cancellation for October 2015 being just 0.13 per cent, the lowest of all airlines in India. Rohit Pal, Senior GM, Flight Operations, said, “Consistent improvement in our On-Time Performance for the past few months is the result of the collaborative effort of all our airport staff and crew member.
