MTDC has been participating in this event every year. However, for PATA Travel Mart 2015, it would be the first time that MTDC is participating independently with a large pavilion of 108 sq. meters, which will create Maharashtra’s own identity on the map of PATA Travel Mart. It is essential that the participant is an inbound tour operator who has a good potential to bring domestic & international tourists to Maharashtra or a hotelier who can offer domestic and international standard accommodation at various tourist places in the state or an enterprise promoting alternative tourism (e.g. Medical Tourism, Agro Tourism, Adventure Tourism, Bollywood Tourism, wine tourism, etc.) with the motive of Sustainable tourism development in the state. The selection criteria for the co-exhibitors will depend on the ability of the enterprise to promote and market tourism products of Maharashtra in the best possible way that could boost tourism by having increased number of global visit.
