Mahema Bhutia has been appointed as Director of Marketing at Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru. In her current role, she is responsible for overseeing the dynamic Sales & Marketing team during the exciting pre-opening phase while positioning the hotel as the Number 1 luxury destination in the Garden City.
With over two decades of experience in the hospitality and travel industries, Mahema has aced 5 hotel pre-openings so far. Mahema has worked with The Leela Palaces Hotel and Resorts, ITC Hotels; Dusit Devarana New Delhi, Trail Blazer Tours, Thomas Cook France, Hyatt Regency Pune, Renaissance Hotel Mumbai, Oberoi Hotels and Resorts in the past.
Having worked in Paris for close to a decade, Mahema says she has a unique vantage point of gauging the international market, while her experience with well-known brands gives her an understanding of the finer aspects of the luxury scenario.
“My vision for Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru is so much wider than simply focusing on the hotel. It is about the Embassy ONE estate, which will be a buzzing luxury destination in fostering meaningful connections. The onus is on putting Bengaluru on the world map as the modern city of today. A city where ancient palaces jostle for space alongside the spanking new tech parks, a definite nod to the future,” said Mahema.
Mahema will have the onus of positioning the second and much awaited hotel of the luxe Four Seasons brand in India, securing top corporate business as well as showcasing the destination as a great option for leisure travellers.
