The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts has expanded its luxury portfolio in the National Capital Region (NCR) by adding one more property in Delhi, making it the third property in the region.
The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel is a five-star 480-room property. With this, The Leela Group now operates three properties in the Delhi-NCR, offering over 1,150 rooms, the hospitality major said in a statement here.
“The addition of The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel Delhi to our portfolio further consolidates our presence in the Delhi-NCR and underscores our asset light growth strategy,” President of the luxury hotel Group Rajiv Kaul said.
As India emerges as a significant destination for world-class banqueting, conventions and events, this property will further assist in making Delhi a preferred upscale MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and events) stop, he added.
The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, headquartered in Mumbai, is owned by Hotel Leelaventure. It owns and manages nine properties across India in cities like, Mumbai, New Delhi, Gurgaon, Bengaluru, Chennai, Goa, Udaipur and Kovalam.
