Kerala Tourism organises road show in Tokyo

Kerala Tourism’s first road show in Tokyo was a huge success, the department said. It said the Monday event drew 55 leading participants from the Japanese travel and tourism industry. The road show follows an assurance given by the Japanese government to support Kerala in promoting tourism. “As the world’s third largest economy, Japan is a very important market for us,” said Shri A.P. Anil Kumar, Tourism Minister, Kerala. Tourist arrivals in Kerala from Japan have witnessed a 25 per cent growth in the last five years. A total of 8,785 Japanese tourists visited Kerala last year.
