The Minister for Tourism, Kerala, Kadakampally Surendran, announced that the 11thedition of Kerala Travel Mart (KTM) will commence on September 24, 2020. The event will be held at Sagara and Samudrika Convention Centres of Cochin Port Trust in Willingdon Island.
The Mart will focus on finding global buyers and exploring new markets for Champions Boat League (CBL), adventure tourism, and MICE Tourism.
Two days of this four-day event will feature sessions involving international buyers, MICE operators and corporate houses, and the remaining two days will be for those involved in domestic tourism. Considering that the KTM’s 2018 edition can infuse fresh energy into Kerala’s tourism industry and help it regain ground after the floods, KTM 2020 will also showcase presentations to the same end. Adventure tourism and MICE tourism will be another priority area of KTM 2020.
The Minister also said that the biennial conclave, organised by the KTM Society, is expected to attract buyers from China, Israel and Japan.
