Hilton Jaipur Announces ‘Sagai se Shehnai 3.0 – Wedding Trends 19-20’

Hilton Jaipur launches ‘Sagai se Shehnai 3.0 – Wedding trends 19-20, a promotion that offers wedding-ready facilities and services in collaboration with experts in decor, clothing, makeup, rituals and others.

To announce the same the hotel recently organised and hosted an event of Talk Show and royal wedding fashion show that helps planners and guests make informed and inspiring choices for their prospective pre-and-post bridal ceremonies. The bridal showcase hosted at Turquoise, a grand ballroom presented Royal wedding theme set up, popular wedding special global cuisines, talk show speakers Vishal Gupta, General Manager at Hilton Jaipur, Dr. Jaydeep Mehta – Founder True Events, Kalpana Rajesh – Decor by Krishna Chennai, Pritesh Sharma – Mapsor Events, live performance by Vikal Mehta, Stand-up comedy duo Deepak Raja and Banwari Lal Jhol and Bollywood Singer Dhrriti Saharan Reddy.

The event was inaugurated (Lamp lightning) by Hilton Jaipur General Manager, Vishal Gupta, Dr. Subhash Garg – State minister medical and health technical education Sanskrit education Ayurveda and Vishnu lata, Jaipur Mayor.

Every year hotels, vendors and couples seek out new and unique details to include in their wedding event and reception. Here, event experts from across the country shared the very best of the latest wedding trends. The talk show started with a welcome note by Mr. Vishal Gupta, General Manager at Hilton Jaipur. The show speakers covered 3 major topics in the event.

  1. The sanctity of Eco-friendly decor and beauty of using traditional methods in decor by Kalpana Rajesh – Chennai.
  2. Wedding industry growing over the years and wedding trends 2019-2020 by Dr. JD Mehta – Founder true Events
  3. Growing relationship between hotels and events by Mr. Vishal Gupta, GM – Hilton Jaipur, Dr. JD Mehta – Founder true Events and Mr. Pritesh Sharma – Mapsor Events

There was live entertainment by Stand-up comedy duo Deepak Raja and Banwari Lal Jhol and Bollywood Singer Dhrriti Saharan reddy and theme based lunch featuring Corn cheese and chestnut dimsums / Bbqed Chicken kothay, Dal baatichurma – Dal panchmel, saadabaati, masala baati, kesarchoorma, gulab churma, Elaborate pickle, chutney, papad counter, Rarragosht, Jungli Roast Chicken Drumsticks, Achari paneer qorma, Tawasubz masala, Maaki dal, Assorted Indian breads.

Desserts like Umali – Arabic baked bread and nut pudding, Baba au rhum, Cherry crumble cake, German chocolate cake, Key lime pie, Fruit pavlova, German bee sting cake, Apple strudel, Belgian chocolate truffle cake, Moong dal halwa, Sandesh sampler, Mawa apple, Malai ghewar, Besankeladoo.

The prime event of the evening was a Fashion show demonstrating pre and post wedding attire, jewelry and accessories. The ramp models showcased a blend of western and ethnic, chic and traditional clothing that will be in vogue in 2020 weddings.  While in 2019 soothing pastel shades were in fashion but one will see more vibrant and bright shades trending in 2020.

Stand up acts were performed by various artists from the entertainment industry. Mimicry artist Mr. Vikalp Mehta, Mr. Deepak Raja and Mr. Banwari Lal Jhol entertained the guests with their comedy acts and gags.

The final event was a live musical performance by famous Bollywood and Punjabi Singer, Dhrriti Saharan along with her troop. She sang a few latest and some of her popular numbers.

The event was attended by top known people of Jaipur besides socialites, corporate, event organizers and guests of Hilton.  The evening concluded with a lavish spread of global cuisine like pumpkin risotto with pickle oil ice cream, sweet litchees pan tossed in a masala gravy ,with an emphasis on Rajasthani cuisine featuring Thai corn cake with sweet chili dip, Basil marinated paneer ketinke, Seekh paratha skewer, Chaandi’s Signature Dahike Kebab, Murghshekhawati, Laal maas, Jodhpuri Paneer, Dal e Chaandi , Ker sangria, Rajasthani karaara, Assorted Rajasthani breads – missi roti, bajra roti, roti, naan, Subzdumdeg biryani , Awadhi pakkigosht biryani , Burrani raita. Desserts as IMARTI with kesar rabri, Jhajhariya – rustic corn halwa, Rose petal kheer, Baklawa, Carrot and walnut cake, Hot chocolate pudding, Doughnut wall, Classic black forest pastry, Cake pops – Centre Piece, German bee sting cake, Chocolate coconut cake, Oreo red velvet cupcakes, Banana caramel cake, Warm apple pie (heating lamp) as well along with cocktails and drinks. It was a mesmerizing and a memorable evening.
