Chandigarh International airport ready for flights

Chandigarh International Airport, subsidiary of Airports Authority of India, will commence all domestic scheduled and non scheduled flights from the newly constructed Integrated Terminal Building at Civil Airport. It was inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on September 11 and will handle both domestic as well as international flights. It can be accessed from Aerocity Road from either side – Mohali Sector 66 or Patiala Road. The new terminal has facilities such as two aero-bridges, baggage conveyors, 48-check-in counters, prepaid taxi counters, snack bars, visitor entry ticket counter, car parking Space and differently abled passenger friendly facilities. The departing passengers shall take the elevated road to access departure hall and arrival is from the ground floor.
