The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi has appointed Anoop Pandey as Resident Manager. In his new role, Anoop is responsible for developing business plans and implementing new ideas in order to improve guest satisfaction and profitability. He oversees the daily Rooms Operations encompassing Front Office, Housekeeping, SPA, and Food & Beverage
With an experience of more than 11 years in hospitality, Anoop is a seasoned professional with recognition such as ‘Front Office Manager of the Year’ by Hotelier India in 2012 and ‘Rooms Leader of the Year’ by Starwood Regional Vice President (RVP) Award in 2013 to his name.
He started his career with The Leela Kempinski Hotels India in August 2006 as a Management Trainee and after a successful completion of the extensive training at various Leela Kempinski properties, he became the Assistant Manager – Front Office at The Leela Palace Kempinski, Bangalore. After spending a little over a year and a half, he moved on to join The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace as the Duty Manager in April 2009.
Anoop had also been a part of the pre-opening phase at The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi in 2010. He worked with the hotel for four years as the Manager – Front Office. During his role as a manager, he was responsible for the professional and effective running of the day-to-day rooms operation in accordance with all Westin Service Standards and in line with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Policies and Procedures.
In December 2014, Anoop joined The St. Regis Mumbai as the Director of Rooms, where he handled a team of 200+ associates across Front Office, Butlers, Housekeeping, SPA, Laundry and Transportation and turned around the team’s performance through strategic talent acquisition and engagement involving interviews, training, evaluation, coaching and guidance.
