Albatros Travel & Sapphire Ventures organises a series of networking events for its partners

Albatros Travel in partnership with Sapphire Ventures organised a refreshing Sunday brunch on 3rd Feb 2019 in Mumbai to kick off the Season. The guest list included who’s who of the fraternity in attendance to enjoy the afternoon, as well as the South Africa’s Country Hub Head, Ms Neliswa Nkani and Ms Alpa Jani Trade Relations Manager were there to grace the occasion

Delhi was the last stop of the roadshow, to thank its prime partners in the city, an evening of cocktails and dinner on the Feb 9, 2019 was attended by the prime partners who have been supporting Albatros Travel & Sapphire Ventures.

Albatros Travel and Sapphire Ventures solidified the partnership Nov 2017 and it yielded exceedingly good results. This smooth-running partnership has given Albatros Travel and Sapphire Ventures a competitive edge in the travel industry. The partnership leads to efficient and quick turnaround times.

Sapphire Ventures, based in New Delhi, is responsible for managing marketing and operations in PAN India. Parallel to Albatros, they are focused on reverting quotes swiftly, plus being accessible for telephonic queries and local assistance. Ms. Annelise Bothma, GM Albatros Southern Africa says, “Being able to service our clients in their mother tongue (language) is a huge benefit – it allows us to foster and maintain excellent relationships with agents. Looking back, the partnership has grown massively these last two years – we are handling groups as well as FIT’s now. Per annum, Albatros deals with 55 000 pax globally. The South African office, consisting of 27 employees (including the Indian department), welcomes 7000 satisfied customers to Southern Africa yearly. Owning the supply chain is another benefit. Locally; Albatros manages six self-owned lodges plus two transport companies. Honeyguide Tented Safari Camp, consisting of Khoka Moya and Mantobeni, situated in the Manyeleti Game Reserve; Ranger Camp, situated in the Entabeni Game Reserve and Zebra Country Lodge, located north of Pretoria. Transport company, Destination Wild, operates in Johannesburg, while Beyond Touring operates in Cape Town.”
