Air Seychelles has recently hosted a series of workshops for its staff members across various areas of the business as part of its campaign to introduce its new streaming inflight entertainment platform on its new A320neo aircraft. The sessions held as from Monday, 13 May until Friday, 17 May 2019, at the airlines’ Head Office in Pointe Larue was conducted by the AirFi Customer Success Manager, Nitant Shinde.
Throughout the sessions, staff had the chance to learn and experience AirFi technology at first hand, in addition to testing the AirFi boxes that will power the on board app-free streaming inflight entertainment system. Several networking sessions were also held with the marketing and corporate affairs department to finalize the look and feel of the new platform that will feature a selection of entertainment content including latest movies, TV-shows, games and music.
Rosemary Monthy, Head of Guest Experience at Air Seychelles, leading the AirFi project said: “The sessions were very intense but in general it was a successful week of learning about the state-of-the-art portable inflight entertainment system.
“We have established a close partnership with AirFi to introduce this very promising product to our esteemed guests and we are very excited to be the first airline in the Indian Ocean region to launch the new inflight streaming entertainment platform.
Nitant Shinde, AirFi Customer Success Manager highlighted, “It was an absolute privilege to introduce and co-create the new Air Seychelles inflight entertainment system powered by AirFi.
“The intense week of workshop, training and know-how sessions conducted with all relevant stakeholders provided an opportunity to build expectations of the product and to also communicate the value it will bring to guests travelling with Air Seychelles.
“Personally, I am overwhelmed with the enthusiasm and support received from everyone I interacted with at Air Seychelles and it is this spirit that will definitely fuel the success of AirFi.”
